Hello.
Does enyone know if the PIX can handle SNMP over NAT? I have a remote customer who has a number of SAN devices we wish to monitor on a local HP Openview server. The SAN devices will produce SNMP traps and send them back through the PIX firewall over a NATed address. Is this possible ? as I susspect that SNMP will have the origional IP address of the device embedded in the payload and not the natted address that the HP server will address. My PIX is running 6.1(4).
Thanks
Martin

You will probably need to confgure an Alias command to make this work.

The pix canhadle the NAT prpoerly but your HP Openview doesn't. It is a well known issue with HP openview and I don't know if they fix the problem already.
cheers,
