Software update problem

Hi.

I've made a software upgrade of a CVPN3000 from release 4.1 to 4.7 to get the WebVPN feature. The update succeeded but I couldn´t access the concentrator since then. No more HTTPS access I get the error "You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied". I tried to enter through the console (like explained in the guide) but no success either. The hyperterminal windows says that the connection is made but nothing appears. If I connect to a switch or router I get the management window immediatly.

What's happening?

Hello Ramada,

Try reverting back the IOS to 4.1....

Try the following procedure and restore the VPN box.

Try just reloading the box before doing this change and see if u are able to access.

Hi Raj.

I've managed to get to the console using a cat5 network cable. I've confirmed (again) that the http/https is running on the VPN concentrator and the access list is correct. After that I can now connect through HTTPS management. I suppose the HTTPS management option changed to disabled after the new image was installed. Strange thing....
