static (intf2,outside) 127.0.0.255...

The following static translation is showing up on my firewall. Even after I remove it:

static (intf2,outside) 127.0.0.255 127.0.0.255 netmask 255.255.255.255

What is this and why does it happen? Forcefully removing the route has not worked. Furthermore, cpu usage has been spiking? Could static translations cause this?

Any comments are appreciated.

If it shows some warning when it is being removed then it is being used for some other purpose within the firewall.
