supported SSH image on Enterprise IOS

i need to install an IOS image thta supports SSH as remote login protocol for managing the router:

1- can you point me to the right IOS to use?

2- I could also use some sample configurations. the last time i tried to issue the command transport input ssh on the vty ports, it wasn't accepted and i don't know if there is something i should have evabled globally first, or if something needed to be done prior to downloading the IOS from CC). i do have a valid CCO account and i just wend and downloaded the IOS i thought was supporting SSH.
