In our current firewall, an AS400 firewall, we use telnet to connect to some secure side software applications. We are currently installing a Pix 525 firewall. While reading documentation, I understand the pix does not allow telnet to the outside interface. Does it allow telnet through the firewall if we use a NAT translation statement? And if so, how would the telnet statment work?
