tftp and access-lists

I have put a inbound access list on the serial interface of a remote router. Im unable to tftp the config from the router to a local (for me) tftp server. I have included a permit statement to allow tftp but it wont copy. Without the access list everything works fine.

Is there a second port tftp uses to transfer data or is this a issue with my tftp application?

Try using your tftp client in a lab or local on router to rule out the client issue. Also are you behind a PATed or NATed address? The PAT could pose a problem. Also have you added the permit tftp on the firewall closest to you?
