The "Firewalling" group may have been better.
However, for the SSM to contact Trend, the following must be true:
- Physical Ethernet port on SSM card must be connected to a network that can reach the Internet.
- Most customers plug the SSM's physical port into the inside network of the ASA. If you do, then ensure the default gateway configured on the SSM is the ASA's inside interface
- Following the previous bullet, ensure that the SSM's IP is able to get out through the ASS (interface ACL and NAT/PAT statements allow it).
That's about all there is.
