UI Sensor version not upgraded?

Maybe this is related to all of the problems people are posting about regarding S96, but I can no longer push configs to my sensors through VMS. I get this error:

"The UI sensor version "4.1(4)S94" does not match the real sensor version "4.1(4)S96"

What can I do to remedy this? Should I downgrade my sensor and try the upgrade again through VMS?

It sounds as if you either applied the signature update locally, on the sensor; or that the signature version never updated in CW VMS.

I would try going into the MC Configuration Tab -> select a sensor -> Settings -> Identification -> Query

After you perform the query, it should reflect the correct signature version... Click on 'apply' then go to the 'Pending' tab, check the box next to the sensor that you just queried and click 'Save'. That should synchronize the version in VMS.

You were absolutely right about how I applied the signature. It was done locally. So I followed your instruction about MC Config tab / sensor/ settings /Id / query/ ... all went well, until I ckicked "apply". I got the same response,

"Object update failed. The sensor version 4.1(1)S47 is an unrecognized version. You may need to apply a signature update to the system for support of this sensor."

This is very frustrating. I have opened Cisco TAC request about this problem but no reponse yet. I would apreciate any assitance here.
