Hello,
I am using VPN client 3.5.1 on a 3000 system. When one of our clients logs into the system he is unable to view the network through Explorer, although he can ping all the relevant machines without any issues.
Before connecting; the Enable Lan setting is enabled in Options - Properties, but when connected this appears in the general tab -"local LAN access:Disabled".
Is this the cause of the problem, and how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance

You can use sniffer trace and find the exact problem. I guess you are facing with IPSec issue.

Hi,
There are two steps to configuring the "local LAN access" facility on a Cisco VPN client to a 300x or PIX.
1) Configure a group on the 300x to enable split tunneling (specify the network ranges explicity for bypass).
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/vpn/vpn3000/4_0/config/usermgt.htm#1713544
2) On the VPN client specify the "Enable local LAN access".
It sounds to me that you have not done step 1, as such when you establish the tunnel the 300x is disabling the deature on the client.
Hope this helps,
cheers
Chris
