We have a project of connecting 31LAN over a VPN. Our project is to get connected to Internet only in the main server. In all other LAN's the Internet access will be over the WAN/VPN. The question is, do we have to firewall all the LAN's?
(The VPN is using the Telecom operator lines not the Internet)

This is merely a question of trust. If you consider the WAN secure, then you don't have to worry about firewalls on that, and concentrate on border security to the internet. If the WAN is constructed using leased lines, why do you need VPN?

Hi Rubio, Thank you for answering.
The WAN isn't constructed using leased lines....I called it VPN, because it's a WAN where the control is done by the Telecom operator .
