Hello guys...
I have a question in which I am not so good.
I started working in a big company recently and they have a Virtual server installed with a HOTSPOT on it with the gateway 10.10.1.254 (example).
This server (hotspot GRASE) is used to deliver 2 VLANs, and 2 SSIDs on each Access Point. When i first started i thought the Access Points had to be configured like they would normally be for 2 SSIDs with 2 VLANs but this is not the case. When I reviewed the configuration there was nothing showing so my guess is that this configuration relies on the HOTSPOT server (Grase) that has been set up in the Server Room.
What I would like to know am I correct? Since this is something interily new for me.And the 2nd question would be,if I wanted to add another AP
all I have to do is setup the dns, gateway etc. on that AP and set it up on the server aswell and the VLANs and the SSIDs would function on that new AccessPoint?
Thank you for your time on reading this and for your help in advance!!!

Dear Nino,
This is Vikas, Regards to your above question let me understand a is your Hotspot acting as WLC??
If yes, When you connect a compatible wireless device we can ensure the WLC does configuration and enables you the device to work in your required environment.
If No, You need to configure, IP, DNS, Gateway, Dual SSID, Channels and VLAN NO.

Vikas
