WS-C2924C-XL-EN Fiber Question

Hello,

I need to get a 10/100 24 port switch with dual fiber so that I could plug in 4 strands of fiber. I was looking at this model WS-C2924C-XL-EN is it going to be discontinued soon? Also I need to keep this somewhat low on cost under $2000.00 Would you recommend a different switch or will this be a good switch. I am not sure if I can plug in two strands of fiber or four into this switch, I need one that I can plug in 4 strands.

Hi Jim,

It looks like that 2900 series switch only has two fiber ports on it. I couldn't find anything in the 2900 series with four.
