Reset CPAM

We have an issue where the "Site Name" in CPAM isn't correct. I was told the only way to get this changed is to do a system reset, how is a system reset done?

A separate but related question that I will eventually find out, does a restore include the "Site Name?"

Other than using the restoration DVD that comes with CPAM, you will need to delete the CPAM image on the OS and reinstall it (from the original TAR file...if you have access to it).

Cisco found a way to change the site name by modifying the mysql database but it can cause issues with gateways.  The only "TAC Supported" method today is a factory reset.

Correct...the only way to reset the CPAM server is to use the CD/DVD that shipped with the server.  Yes, if you use the restore option, the site name will be restored as part of the operation.
