Server Full for media request from camera

As i am adding a camera it says the server has no more space available.  I turned down the streams on my HD cameras from 4000 to 3000 but do not seem to be creating anymore space.  Does it take a few days to recalculate?  I also have a server that has 20 cameras on it and i have moved 6 off and it is still giving me that message.  I do not belieive they are over subscribed.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We'd need more details to provide meaniful feedback here.  You may recalculated/redistributed streams, but this doesn't immediately impact the archives, if at all.  If the archives have no effective expiration, then space will not be reclaimed.

At a minimum, the details regarding the existing archives would be helpful.  Also, is this a 6.X or a 7.X installation?
