VSMS Issues (stream losses)

Hi everyone;

I am experiencing some issues with the cisco surveillance software (version 4.2.0) let me explain about it:

Symptons:

• I could not see the video of some cameras despite of the camera is active, actually i can ping the camera but i cannot see it in the surveillance software.
• Depends on who is login in the cisco tool i see some cameras and others don`t, i mean, is relative to the user.

Some useful info:

Cameras IP Cisco 2500

Camera Firmware Version:  2.1.2

Software version 4.2.0

Please anyone can help me with this, i really appreciated.

Hi Jorge,

for your first point -> are you able to view the same camera over web browser ? if yes then check if VSMS services are runnign properly on server.

for second point -> this is normal working depending what you have setup who can access which camera.
