I have updated RV042 firmware to resolve issue on Protectlink Activation when router is restarted.
This issue has been resolved but now when we try to connect using PPTP an error pops out
Error 806. A connection between your computer and the VPN server has been established, but
the VPN connection cannot be completed. The most common cause for this is that at least one
internet device (for example, a firewall or a router) between your computer and the VPN server is not configured to allow Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) protocol packet. Verify that protocol 47 (GRE) is allowed on all personal firewall device or routers. If the problem persist, contact your network administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP) to determine which might be blocking these packets."
Before, PPTP was working fine until we have updated our firmware. Settings were all the same since the update.
Passthroughs are Enabled
And also I just noticed recently that client that are on approved list are still blocked by Protectlink Web Protection.
Why is this happening?
I think there's a lot of bugs on this latest version (4.0.4.02-tm)
