We are looking at obtaining the Cisco RV110W in order to throttle the allocated bandwidth to each client.
With our optic fibre line still being set up, we are forced to use DSL for the time being. The available bandwidth of 20Mb, gets occasionally completely consumed when clients download and/or upload files. As soon as this happens, the internet connection 'crashes' for everyone.
As it will take a few more months for our optic fibre line to be ready, we need a solution to throttle the bandwidth.
Could you please confirm if we will be able to throttle the bandwidth that the RV110W provides to each client? I have been looking at the manual and see that you have the option of throttling bandwidth on a per-port basis. However, we really would like to do this on a per-client basis instead.
