Configuring a Client-to-Site RV-160 VPN connection from its own site - is it possible?

I'm doing Client-to-Site configuration work for a several RV-160 routers that are in the field from my main office.

Preferably, I would like to do the configuration all at this office, meaning that the Client (my dev box) is sitting on the same subnet that I will be "hitting against"  (my dev box being 192.168.4.67 hitting against 192.168.4.0/24). In the "real world", my dev box would be a routine remote access.

My question is whether this is even possible (from and to the same subnet), or would be better served by being completely "detached" (picking up a public WiFi signal in the office) while doing the configuration?

Hello,

You can do both VPN configurations - the RV160 VPN site configuration and the remote client VPN configuration on the same location but you won't be able to establish and test the client-to-site VPN connectivity. Once you configure the VPN on the RV and on the dev box you could test in the "real world" environment. Note that the RV160 supports TheGreenBow IPsec and Shrew VPN as remote VPN clients.
