Help needed with RV042 v3 router firmware/recovery

Help needed with RV042 v3 router.

I have an RV042v3 that has somehow lost/corrupted its firmware. I have attempted to "revive" it  using the Router Firmware Rescue Utility at the following link;

Everything appears to work fine and i am able log into the web admin page via (192.168.1.1 and admin/admin) .However once in, all of the menu option are blank or have no data?

I can see the entire menu structure as expected, but all options are empty?

I have also tried what seems to be a newer version of the Rescue Utility, but that version keeps coming up with a TFTP error or a password error??

Do I spend any more time on this device or is it "dead"

Try other browser

or

flash with newer firmware using tftp:

* set static IP i.e. 192.168.1.10 on your pc

* set uboot to recovery mode by starting router with reset button pressed for 15 seconds (or more) -DIAG should blink slowly

* run tftp

     tftp -i 192.168.1.1 PUT  RV0xx.bin /tmp/tmpfs/image

where RV0xx.bin is the name of firmware file
