I have configured a router WRV210 and I left it enabled in order to access it remotely, but I can not connect to it. I have checked the settings and everything is fine, but if I try to access it from anywhere in the website does not load, either IE or Firefox or Chrome.
Pleas I need help!

Juan,
If you're behind the router and still about to get out to the internet i wouldn't say there isn’t anything wrong with your router.
First check your settings under remote management- remote management is enabled ••àhttp or https ••à port number … I have seen ISP lock down certain ports. (You can try multiple ports) check to see if your router has a public IP address and not private. All other address outside ones below is public.
Private range 10.0.0.0---10.255.255.255
Private range 172.16.0.0---172.31.255.255
Private range 192.168.0.0---192.168.255.255
If you want find out which ports your ISP is blocking and ones that are open. You would want to bypass the router and plug a pc directly into your modem. Firewalls turned off on pc and navigate to
http://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?rh1dkyd2
You can probe your ISP and find out your opened and closed ports. Just sounds like the port is being filter/blocked coming into the router. Some trouble shooting is necessary to find out some resolution.
Hope this helps,

You have not given us much detail to work with. So at this point I can only make some general suggestions that might lead to identifying the problem.
- you mention remote access but are not clear whether this access is via telnet, via SSH, via web interface, or something else. Perhaps you can clarify what type of remote access you are attempting?
- is it possible that there is a problem with IP connectivity? Is it possible that where you are attempting the remote access does not have a route to the router? Or is it possible that the router does not have a route to return traffic to where you are? Perhaps the easy test of this is whether you can successfully ping the router from where you are.
- is it possible that you have configured a filter that is preventing the access? Are there any access lists, access groups, or access class configured on the router? If so can you provide some detail about their configuration?
- is it possible that you have configured authentication for the remote access and that some problem with the authentication is preventing your access?
Any other detail you can provide (perhaps especially more detail about how the router is configured) might be helpful.

It is helpful to know that you are able to ping the router from remote locations. So that indicates that the problem is not basic IP connectivity. And it is helpful to know that you are able to access the web interface from inside the network. So that shows that authentication is not the problem.
If you are able to ping from outside but not able to access the web interface it suggests that something is intercepting the web interface traffic. Is it possible that there is some firewall that is preventing the remote web access?

I had not set up any firewall in the router and I call to my Internet Provider to know if they had installed some kind of firewall in the Cable-Modem and they said no. So, if I don't have any firewall, what could be happening?
It is possible that my router is damaged?

Thanks!
The port that I'm using to get acces to the router is the 8080 (default), I have called to my ISP and I asked if they block any port or if they have any kind of firewall, but they said no, they don't block any port. What can it be?

It is very unlikely that the problem is that your router is damaged. It is much more likely that there is something in the configuration that is preventing the access from outside. Perhaps you can post a screen shot of the page in the configuration of this router that specified access? (in the cconfiguration go to Administration and then go to Management and get a screen copy of the page and post it)
