How can you upload an ios image from a tftp server in rommon mode on the 2960 switch. Their is no option for tftpdnld with this model. I know their is a way to do it without doing xmodem because I did it a couple years ago. I vaguely remember setting the set options to the ip address, default gateway, file name. I have this all correct on my switch. Now where do I go from here. I am 100 percent sure that I downloaded the ios from the tftp server in rommon mode on this series of switches. I know it can be done, I did it.
I thought that I just formatted the flash and then did a copy tftp:/"filename" flash:/"filename"
but this isn't working, I'm missing a step somewhere
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
