IPsec VPN config for mobile clients in WRVS4400N - is that possible?

Unfortunately I'm afraid I don't have good news.

This router only supports the Quick VPN client for remote connection and it is not compatible with mobile devices, as a matter of fact it is only supported on windows units.

here is the information from the data sheet:

5 VPN tunnels for remote client access

• 5 IPsec gateway-to-gateway tunnels for branch office connectivity

Now if you can get another router that supports PPTP or maybe run a PPTP server inside of the network behind the WRVS4400N then you will be able to use any mobile device iOS, Android, MAC and windows.

Hmm, And there is no possibility for create ipSec tunnel with "ANY" remote IP adress?

I suppose that quickvpn is not as many secure, as Ipsec tunnels?

Hello,

Just for clarification, the Quick VPN software uses IPsec VPN connection, so it is as secure as any IPsec tunnels.
