Is the self-signed certificate in RV325 that was produced by "Factory default including certificates" relatively safe? Or do you advise that I create my own?

Hi Michael,
Thank you for reaching out, can you please elaborate on what you mean by "relatively safe"? The certificate will definitely encrypt your session to the router, it uses TLS 1.2 and AES 256 so it is pretty secure.
You will, however, get an "untrusted certificate" in most web browsers due to the fact that the certificate is self-signed, if you'd like to get rid of that error you will have to reach out to a CA (Certificate Authority) to obtain a properly signed certificate that your web browser can verify.
