I was wondering if it was possible if I could put a lan port on my router on a different subnet. The setup I have is my switch is connected to port 1 and that switch connects all my wired ports around my house. My server is on port 2. Right now I have 2 vlans set up. 7.2.11.x is for my wired connections and 7.2.12.x is my wireless. What I wanna do is put my server on port 2 on its own subnet and put my wireless and rest of my ethernet connection the same subnet.
Would it be possible to just port the server on its own subnet and place the wireless and rest of the wire connection on a different subnet.
Thanks for your time
Sorry for any confusion.

Yes you should able to just set the switchports with the correct vlan id to be part of whatever layer 3 vlan you created , that would put them into each subnet depending whats created

I figured it out. I just put the port that the switch was on as untagged and the port the server is on untagged and everything else tagged it they went on their own subnet.
