Maximum speed for RV042

Hi,

I have a Linksys RV042 routher, with 100 Mbps (WAN) off service. However, when a speed test is conducted, it only manage 50Mbps. WHY? What is the maximum speed?

The specs says "800Mps NAT throughput when IPS is disabled"

Is IPS activated in your device ?

Thank you, but i'm asking about the download speed for RV042 not the Net Work Speed. If the Download speed for this router only can go up to maximum 50 Mbps, maybe i have to change a router. Because the ISP give 100Mbps of download speed and now what i get is only 30-50Mbps. I pay the full speed price and get half of the speed whit this router.

Did you bother to set the maximum upload and download speed from their defaults in the Setup?

Hey loke,

Have you tried turning off SPI in the firewall tab.  This is stateful packet inspection and will cause some over head on the router.

The router spec's only mentions the nat throughput of 100 mbps.
