Hi,

i want to buy a cisco router with below mentioned specification, could anyone advice me that whih model meets these requirements:

  • Hardware Architecture
  • Should be based on modular architecture for scalability and should be a single box configuration for ease of management with the flexibility to use the appropriate choice of interfaces as and when required.
  • The router offered should have high MTBF & low MTTR
  • Power supply should be for 230V AC.
  • May have redundant Power supply, not mandatory.
  • Should have Min of 512 MB RAM & 256 MB FLASH and should be upgradeable.

  • Interface
  • Should have at least 3 Gig interfaces (at least 1 SFP Port)
  • Should have at least 2 FE interface
  • Dedicated Console port
  • At least 1 USB port

  • Should support hardware assisted flow-based traffic analysis of applications, hosts, performance-based measurements on application and network latency, quality of experience metrics for network-based services such as voice over IP (VoIP) and video.
  • Should have the ability to monitor events and take informational, corrective, action when the monitored events occur or when a threshold is reached.
  • Implementation control configuration on the Router to ensure SNMP access to SNMP Manager or the NMS work station.
  • Support for RMON1/RMON2.
