Port forwarding

RVS4000 router... I use to be able to do port forwarding, not so now.

I'm just trying to port forward 80 to a computer for a simple server (web pages)

TCP port 80 forwarded to 192.168.1.148, my computer.

Is there anything else I should be checking?

Using another computer, I can see that the server is up, http://192.168.1.148 works well.

using my WAN 24.246.18.202 it does not want to connect.

Its too bad the router does not display all port forwarding, like the ARQ table, because the only thing I can think of, is another device on the network is trying to port forward also, over riding the setting I have in the router.

To add, I can do remote management on port 8080 using http://24.246.18.202 and even port 80, using http://24.246.18.202... so port 80 is not blocked.

NOt sure where to go to from here.

Well thanks to everyone that helped me out.... all zero people.

I got the port forwarding to work now.

I have to reset the router from factory default and manually set the router back to the way I want it. That took a lot of work, but it done.

Now after too days, the port forwarding went down again, so I unchecked the box (saved) , rechecked it (saved) and its back. I hope this is not an ongoing issue.
