Hi all,
I've bought a Cisco SB RV345 for a client that wants to provide internet to some building management devices.
For this purpose we've setup a RV345 using two WAN connections.
WAN1: PPPoE connection over a 4 Mbps Fiber VLAN (connected to a Cisco ASR920 provided by Tele2)
WAN2: Static routed back-up connection over 30/3 Mbps VDSL (connected to a Cisco 887VA router)
My WAN2 connection (that is supposed to be used as back-up connection) does work.
My problem is the PPPoE connection does not seem to work (it doesn't get connected and IPv4 is shown as 'down').
What I've tested:
- Setup the PPPoE on WAN2 interface (did not resolve the issue)
- Tested on Firmware 1.0.01.18 and 1.0.01.17 (no success)
- Connected my Win10 laptop to the ASR920 and setup PPPoE on my laptop (this did work)
The logs of the RV345 don't tell me much either:

Hello
Try to setup PPPoE for both IPv4 and IPv6. It seems to help in my case.

I've tried to setup PPPoE on IPv6 as well, but no success.
Based on Cisco TAC Feedback I've also tried to set MTU to 1492 or 1472; both without success.
I did notice that the port on the CPE is configured as 100 Mbps Full Duplex; but when I set the RV345 to these settings, I don't get a link (I do when I set the port to 100 Mbps Half Duplex, or Auto Negotiate).
Kind regards,
Peter
