To reset most devices, there is a small recessed button on the case labeled reset. To reset your device to factory settings you should first cut power to the device. Get a paperclip or something similar to poke the recessed reset button and hold it down. Now while the button is depressed connect power back to the device. Continue to press down the reset button for another 15 seconds or until you see flashing lights on the front panel. Default username and password are either "admin" or "cisco" generally speaking.
