Hi,

I have a site to site VPN set up on a SRP 527W router. The local subnet is 10.0.0.0 and remote subnet is 192.168.2.0. I can ping site to site.

The problem is that the router on the 192.168.2.0 network has routes to other networks. say 192.168.16.x

If i ping from the 10.0.0.0 network to 192.168.16.x networkk there is no communication. the traffic is being sent to the internet (traceroute)

can i route the 192.168.16.x traffic through a tunnel inteface to 192.168.2.0

I can create a GRE tunnel but i cant route the traffic throught the tunnel. i can only route through WLAN1 and LAN1

frimware is 1.01.22(vp003) may 19 2011

thanks

phil

Hi Phil,

Have you tried creating a second IPSec profile on the remote router to forward the 192.168.16.x traffic to the central site?

Andy

Hi Andy,

We changed to routers that support VPN routing. we can now route through an interface thats bound to the VPN policy.

was able to create a tunnel interface and route traffic throught the tunnel.
