I have an RV 120W router with the latest firmware (1.0.2.6) that acts as a DHCP server and that provides this service and wireless internet access just perfectly. However, my WPSM54G print server (firmware 1019) has its connection dropped after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. In order to restore the connection, I enter the web admin interface for the RV 120W and make some sort of change to the Wireless channel or Wireless Network Mode and click "Save" (I then change the setting back to what it was and click save again) and the connection is restored. Something is triggering the connection to be reset when making this change, but I'm not sure what.
In the RV 120W, I have specified the MAC address of the print server to be given a specific IP address outside of the DHCP range to avoid a conflict. I have even used another print server with the same result. Is there a reason why the RV 120W is terminating the connection?
