I am using an RV016 Router on a network with about 30 clients. The router is configured for IPV4 only, DHCP is turned off, and all clients are authenticated using their MAC address and a static IP address. However, some MAC addresses are allowed to connect, even though they are not in the table of authorized IP addresses and MAC addresses. How are they able to connect?
With this configuration, how can I see who is connected and on what IP address?
When I check the boxes at the bottom to block IP addresses with incorrect MAC addresses, or block addresses not on the list, the router blocks all clients, even though most of the IP's and MAC's are matched up correctly. Why?
When attempting to set up bandwidth shaping for specific IP addresses, I often receive an error message that the minimum speed is greater than the maximum speed allowed, which is not true? I can't tell when I will or will not receive this error message. Why?
I am using the latest firmware on the router.
