RV042 Configuration Backup and Restore

We are replacing a Cisco RV042 router with a Cisco RV042g. Can I restore the current (RV042)configuration file to the new(RV042g) router?

That's for sure, it is shared profile between RV042 and RV042G.

Mine is reverse. is possible to restore the backup file from RV042G to RV042? badly need your help cause every time I attempt to restore the config file I always get this message..  "The configuration file is not valid for this model."
