I have read all around this subject and get a variety of answers including: "it won't do that".
Yet, the URL entry:
http://[ipaddress]/sysinfo123.htm?ConsoleSimulation=1
seems to work to enable the TELNET interface to the degree that it presents login responses.
Then the set username gets a positive response.
But, the set password does not and the login fails.
The command:
http://[ipaddress]/sysinfo123.htm?cmd=Reboot
appears to not work.
I would very much like to reboot a remote RV042 V03 because the GUI interface isn't working properly.
I figured that TELNET might be a way around that serious limitation.
Is there a definitive statement regarding this? I have found none.
PLEASE don't point me to a link to the Admin Guide because it says *nothing* about TELNET (or SSH).
