RV042G phoning home to USA and China?

Hi!

I have an RV042G inside my network, i.e. behind my firewall/router for a special-purpose subnet. As usual, I manually configure a non-standard time-server. However, as I can see in the firewall logs of my router, the RV042G tries to contact a time server in the USA and one in China every 15 minutes:

Is that correct? Is that intended? Why does this happen, although I manually entered a different time server?

Maybe I start a Wireshark session on this network the next days, just for the lulz...

Btw, just for the sake of completeness: There was no device hooked up to the RV042G at the time, the screenshot was taken, except some RJ45 patch cabels, but cabels do not contact the internet, do they?
