Hello,

Here's a quick diagram of what I realized:

Windows 2008 --- LAN1 (Ipcop) --- --- LAN2 web over VPN (cisco RV120W) --- PC

My ping RV120W well my windows 2008 and vice versa, although my client PC ping cisco 2008 and the windows.

On the Cisco DHCP relay I add the ip of my 2008 and I declare it an area plan with the active DHCP IP LAN2.

My client are unable to retrieve IP address with a Cisco 800 Series it worked well :-(

Would you have any idea

thank you

I asked a question because I managed this operation with a cisco 857, but the RV120 or RV220 cisco can they do the dhcp relay through a VPN tunnel ?

II found an old post that says this is impossible, is there a manipulation to correct this problem? this is very improtant because we had to use a dozen copies of this model.

I try to change backup.cfg

DhcpRelay = {}

DhcpRelay[1] = {}

DhcpRelay[1]["DhcpRelayStatus"] = "1"

DhcpRelay[1]["LogicalIfName"] = "LAN"

DhcpRelay[1]["virtualIfName"] = "bdg1"

DhcpRelay[1]["_ROWID_"] = "1"

DhcpRelay[1]["RelayGateway"] = "IP DHCP SERVEUR"

to

DhcpRelay = {}

DhcpRelay[1] = {}

DhcpRelay[1]["DhcpRelayStatus"] = "1"

DhcpRelay[1]["LogicalIfName"] = "sit0-WAN1"

DhcpRelay[1]["virtualIfName"] = "sit0"

DhcpRelay[1]["_ROWID_"] = "1"

DhcpRelay[1]["RelayGateway"] = "IP DHCP SERVEUR"

And restore the file but i've this error "Failed to update configuration as the file may have been invalid/corrupted"

Grrrr

you know if a new firmware version will come out, because this problem is extremely blocking for me.

thank you
