My RV180W firmware 1.0.5.4 suffers wan connection drops, 3 4 times per day.
I reset it to factory defaults, disabled every firewall attack prevention and changed the ADSL modem but the problem persists.
Please help me to solve this issue.

I don't use these routers but looking at the website your already on the latest firmware , you could roll back to an earlier version the issue may not be there in version firmware 1.0.4.14 , the bug could be specific to that latest release

Thanks Mark,
the fimware I'm using was released on jan 2015: more than an year ago.
Do you think that after more than one year it needs to be downgraded?

I think you have hit a bug in firmware if the device is dropping your wan connection constantly and you have already ruled out the modem by replacing it , or else your facing a hardware issue on the router hopefully its just firmware problem
I would advise to upgrade but that option is not there so the next course would be drop back to try another version and see if that resolves the issue as obviously you cant live with a connection like that
I presume the ISP have also cleared any issues on their side that could be causing this and your sure there not responsible , to check that bypass the router with a laptop direct to the modem run a constant ping and see if the drops are occurring same time as on the RV router , if not the line is good an the issue is definitely on router side not the ISP
so the next step is to narrow it down to either firmware or hardware , obviously firmware's easier and cheaper to check first
