I've been trying for some time to upgrade my router's firmware from 1.4.22 to the newer 1.5.X releases. But everytime I do so, my VPN behind NAT gets shut down from the outside, refusing every connection attempt; leading me to a rollback. What has picked my interest, is that when I try to navigate to the VPN passthrough menu, on the web interface it shows a broken page icon and goes back to the previous screen.
Is there any known workaround for this? I would really like to update the firmware. But as long as this persist, there's nothing I can do.
