RV320 OpenVPN MD5

If I connect with the latest Android OpenVPN it tells me, the certificates I created with RV320 are MD5 signed. Also it tells me, that MD5 support will end April 2018.

So how else shall I create certificates for OpenVPN? The root cert uses SHA256 but the Ovpn client/server certs are created with MD5.

I also get the notification from cisco support, that the release 1.5.1.05 should fix that issue.

below the link to the download page

and the release notes

P.S: Keep in mind the upgrade issues in the past! It would be safer to backup the config before.

As a data point for anyone waiting to install this, I just updated our 3 from 1.4.22 (most recent) to this fix with zero issues. IPSec, OpenVPN, VLAN, firewall and all other configurations came across with zero issues, and all tunnels came up without intervention. I can just hope that is is more stable than 1.4, having had both lockups and refusals to reboot on 1.4 . . .
