I started to configure for a VPN server (EasyVPN - Apple/iOS)
but my VPN cannot be connected to.
Since I cannot verify if the server runs anyway,
I keep asking myself, if the firwall passes VPN traffic in the first place ?
There is no option to specifically enable/disable the VPN ports other than the SSL/VPN,
or the remote management (443 as well)
Is the VPN port open by default ?
What would I have to do, to open the specific ports within the firewall of the rv320 ?
PortForwarding IPSec to the router itself ?

Hello,
Yes VPN port are open once you setup the "Client to Gateway" Easy VPN on the RV320. You should not have to open ports
Below is the link to the admin guide. Page 93 for easy VPn.
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/routers/csbr/rv320/administration/guide/en/rv32x_ag_en.pdf
The key to any VPN on the RV320 is to have a public IP on the WAN port of the RV320. Please verify your WAN port is a public IP. If not, then call the ISP to get your modem bridged.
Best Regards,
Mike

thank you !
it started working .. almost magically (well, after a reboot)
the left over complaint is, that after working with the router, QA is very bad for the product.
the GUI is very inconsistent in many places
for cisco, this is totally inappropriate.
