I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what the SSL VPN time settings are doing in an RV340. I think my biggest problem is just in the definitions of the setting labels in Optional Gateway Settings:
All times are labeled in SECONDS.
Idle Timeout: 60-86400
Session Timeout: 0-3600
Client DPD Timeout: 0-3600
Gateway DPD Timeout: 0-3600
Keep Alive: 0-600
Lease Duration: 600-1209600
Rekey Interval: 0-43200
In reading various web pages, guides, message threads here, I'm not finding definitions for these settings that say enough to nail it down. I can *guess* at some of them but that's not a great idea, is it?
In particular, I'd like to be able to clearly differentiate between:
Idle timeout, session timeout, keep alive, lease duration as I imagine that these are the key parameters - but they all rather sound like the same thing from a functional point of view, don't they?
My objective is to make settings so that clients can stay connected for a day without losing the tunnel.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
