RV340 web interface/ GUI goes offline

Hi all,

For some time the web interface of one of our deployed RV340 dual WAN routers would become unavailable after a power interruption.

A time consuming inconvenience required the device be reset and the configuration reloaded, IT/ and client NOT happy!!

Upgrading to the latest firmware did not resolve the behaviour.

The only unique variable with this installation was the alternate SSL port enabled for WAN access (8008).

This is now port 443/ default and the difficulty has not returned in six months.

Hi,

Is that still happen to one of your RV340s? Does only the web interface access is the issue you're facing? Does the router become unavailable only after a power outage and does this have any impact on the services i.e. losing Internet connectivity, end clients can't connect to the LAN, etc.?

Thanks

Hi Martin,

Yes just the web access is lost from the LAN/ WAN, all other services' are normal for the clients/ hosts.

Great router/ very happy with the performance and abundant features; Good luck with resolving this report and thank you for asking.
