Hi All,
Over the years, I have created many VPNs GW to GW using Cisco RV042 without any glitches - the only purpose of these VPNs is to install local printers on Terminal servers located in a datacenter and make them available as if they were wired - pretty standard stuff. Recently, at one remote location, not all IP addresses will respond to a ping (Subnet is 192.168.0.0) - in fact those answering are those firstly assigned, ex. 192.168.0."238 to 242" will respond but if I install a new printer and connect it to ip port 192.168.0.237 - the ip is not recognize and will not respond to a ping.
At the customer's location, all IPs are "live" and responding in an expected way but on the server (datacenter) not all IPs are "live. As stated earlier, the first group of IPs used when the VPN was created are still working fine but all new IPs used are dead.
So far, the router was replaced at the customer's location with no different results - original router was put back in service. At the DataCenter, the router is serving a many different VPNs without problem except for this one.
Lastly, just in case, the VPN connects without problem.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks
Richard
