Hello All,
I am trying to setup VPN through the RV180W. I have been able to successfully connect to the PPTP server that is built into the RV180W. This works well enough for now, but I wanted to use the Radius server I have setup to authenticate VPN users. Currently it works to authenticate my wireless clients successfully. I have looked through the error logs and I get errors that look like the following:
Sun Mar 30 20:26:06 2014 (GMT -0500): [routerB18834] [IKE] ERROR: Could not find configuration for 24.114.69.193[63758]
Sun Mar 30 20:24:21 2014 (GMT -0500): [routerB18834] [IKE] ERROR: Could not find configuration for 24.114.69.193[63751]
Sun Mar 30 19:53:10 2014 (GMT -0500): [routerB18834] [IKE] ERROR: Could not find configuration for 24.114.69.193[63759]
Sun Mar 30 20:26:06 2014(GMT-0500) [rv180w][System][VIPSECURE] Could not find configuration for 24.114.69.193[63758]
Sun Mar 30 20:24:21 2014(GMT-0500) [rv180w][System][VIPSECURE] Could not find configuration for 24.114.69.193[63751]
If anyone can help me parse these errors that would also be much appreciated... right now I don't fully understand if "could not find configuration for" is a reference to the IP (being that it can't respond to the IP 24.114.69.193) or to the specific instance (the configuration from the client at that IP has a setting wrong). I believe that the number at the end is an error number but I can't find what the error code means, if someone could find that it would definitely be a help in the right direction. For the record the IP mentioned above is different attempts with different settings from my android smart phone using various settings to try and make it work, but the IP changes and so I want to find a configuration that will respond to any IP.

lucasrobb,
You cannot authenticate PPTP or QuickVPN users against a RADIUS server. If you use a third party IPSec client such as Shrewsoft (Windows) or IPSecuritas (Mac) you can authenticate those users through your RADIUS server. (XAUTH)

That's good to know, what about Android? That's what I've Been testing with so far, the built in VPN has ipsec options, but its not connecting, could the client be the problem here too?

I'm not aware of an IPSec client for Android that works with the RV180. I have used OpenVPN on Android connecting to a NAS OpenVPN server and that worked well. The Admin Guide makes a fleeting reference to OpenVPN:
"VPN client software is required to establish a VPN tunnel between the router and
remote endpoint. Open source software (such as OpenVPN or Openswan) as well
as Microsoft IPsec VPN software can be configured with the required IKE policy
parameters to establish an IPsec VPN tunnel. Refer to the client software guide for
detailed instructions on setup as well as the router’s online help."

If it is in fact possible to configure OpenVPN to connect to the RV180, that would be my first choice for all OS.
