1941w Access point password reset

Hi,

I've got a 1941W, and we don't have the password for the access point. I've got access to the router, but not the access point.

It's not the default password (cisco) and it's setup to use username/password (rather than just password).

How do i reset this device? I'd like NOT to lose the config if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Sorted it out, thanks.

If you need to do it:

Follow the password reset procedure for aironet AP's without physical reset/mode buttons (the one in the 1941 is an 805). You basically need to reboot the AP within the router and then connect to the virtual console port to break the boot with "esc". Then move the config out of the way.
