2801 VPN connection - newbie

hello, I am going to try and set up a VPN connection for the first time (newbie).

I will be conifiguring my 2801 router which accesses the internet via a WAG120N cisco ADSL router. At the other end I will be connecting with a Cisco dektop VPN client.

I assume this should work without problems ?

Is it difficult to do? I notice in some sample configurations that there appears to be a LOT of commands required.

Is there anything in particular I should be aware of before I start to configure this VPN ?

If the other end of the connection will be a desktop VPN client then you are talking about Remote Access VPN and not site to site VPN. Setting this up can be complex.

I would say that the first thing to consider is whether your 2801 is running code and has licenses or feature sets that support Remote Access VPN.
