Confreg 0x1242 was entered in ROMmon instead of
0x2142! Router doesn't boot and the "SYS" light just flashes. Is the hardware now
a paperweight or is there a way to recover it?

Can you get back to Rommon and change it back to 2142?

Unfortunately no, otherwise I would have corrected it. I never get to any prompt. I seems to start to boot then just hangs. Is there any reset on the motherboard that your are aware of?
