There are several things in the files that you attach that may help identify the issue.
First I see this
Warning: filesystem is not clean
The router is indicating that something in the filesystem has a problem and I suspect that it is in bootflash.
then I see this
validate_package: SHA-1 hash:
calculated e4bb6b41:e43fcf6f:4982dead:62367ce9:b2f5ad2e
expected aa7043c8:8a1e0d7d:4d641352:a831f015:17ac6a88
SHA-1 hash doesn't match
This tells us that either there was a problem in getting the image from Cisco or there was a problem in copying the image to the router or there was a problem in storing the image in bootflash.
After this the router does find the older image and is successful in booting that image.
You might try copying the image to bootflash again and see if you get any different result.
You might try to do some diagnostics on bootflash.
If this router is covered by a maintenance contract I would advise that you open a case with Cisco TAC who will have access to better diagnostics.
