ASR 1k Force stop booting

Hello,

i ordered an RP2 from ebay to have HA in my ASR1006. But the new RP habe iso v 3x and actual runnning have 16x.

Based od that the new rp card is reseting after boot.

I have this message in logs:

%BOOT-3-EXT_ISSU_CHK_FAILED: R0/0: issu_comp_check: Detected booting up of standby RP with image beyond the ISSU domain of active RP by the issu_comp_check_sh process. The standby RP is forced to reset.

Isnt there any way to cancel boot proces on new RP card and enter to Romon for booting from USB?

I dont have spare chasis to boot it as stand alone rp

Hello, yes it is bug, and workaround is to upgrade the RP. But it was not able becouse the RP is reseted after bootup.

So i needed to brake the boot. The bootkey not worked.

I needed to connect with console on 1200 baud and press spacebar for 10s.

After that i needed to reconnect with standard 9600 baud and i was in rommon.

After this i was able to boot from usb and fix all the issues.
