Hello, A while back I remember reading about a feature available for ASR 9000 that would allow the same basic functions as VDC does for Nexus but a virtual router context for ASR. But now I can't seem to find any reference to it? Did I dream that I read that or is there such feature available? Thanks in advance

Bump!

Anyone ? :)

I wondered this. Here is the result of my research.

From Cisco document:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/asr9000/software/asr9k_r4-0/system_management/configuration/guide/b_yc40asr9k/b_yc40asr9k_chapter_010.pdf

"Secure domain routers (SDRs) are a means of dividing a single physical system into multiple logically separated routers. Cisco ASR 9000 Series Routers are single-shelf routers that only support one SDR—the owner SDR."

CRS routers support a maximum of eight SDRs, including one owner SDR and up to seven non-owner SDRs.
